Wii love our new toys
Holy cow, we’ve found the way to save money. A small investment in a Nintendo Wii and all of your problems are solved. We picked one up yesterday and somehow all of the planets lined up so Kriss and I had a night alone so we ended up playing the Wii (bowling and golf are our favorites) for about 5 hours before going to bed after midnight. This morning we were up and playing again by 8:30 and somewhere after 2:30 we left to go pick up kids, with only brief stops for bathroom breaks and making bacon and egg sandwiches between frames/holes and it’s now after 9:30 tonight. I think we’ve found our summer activity to keep us home and save on that stupid high priced gas.
I wasn’t too crazy about spending the money since we just bought an Xbox 360 about 2 months ago because I wanted to play Rock Band which is awesome as well, but Kriss has no interest in playing it and it’s the only game I have for it right now. Then last week our neighbors got a Wii and invited Kriss and I over and the four of us bowled several games until about 10:30 and had a blast.
Boxing is fun too but after about 4-5 round your shoulder blades start feeling it. Kriss really likes golf though which surprised me, but so far we are equally bad so we have fun playing each other, I have a feeling that she may get better than me though. Its just odd that a new game system is really popular with children of all ages, everyone I know is in their mid 20′s to upper 50′s that own them so far not to mention that the hospitals are using them as therapy for patients.
